We are thrilled to announce that our first pilot lessons have been completed or are nearing completion for Central Coast Education Networks. We are inviting schools to integrate these lessons into their 2025 Term 2 programs for testing, if possible. (Note: Sequence durations are between 2-6 lessons). Our goal is to finalise the assessment of these resources with our pilot schools by Term 3, ensuring they are ready for widespread use across the Coasts in Term 4 and beyond.

Sustainability for Business Growth

In this hands-on learning experience, students will gain insights into how environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles influence profitability, reputation and their role in growing resilient businesses and industries.

Preparing for a Career on the Coast

This lesson package is designed to help students understand the role of local government in economic development, the importance of businesses to local economies, and potential career opportunities in their region.

Digital Presence for Business Growth

This lesson explores digital activation, covering branding, websites, social media, e-commerce, and online customer engagement. Created by a leading digital marketing agency on the Central Coast, these resources will help students examine how local businesses can use digital tools to connect with customers, expand, and stay competitive.

Net Z(ed) Lesson Resources will be consistently released over the coming year, featuring short, credentialled lesson sequences that connect with varying stages and Key Learning Areas (KLAs). We ask our broad network of teachers to share widely. The long-term commitment from industry, government, and research will be measured by the rapid development and activation of these resources in classrooms in the project’s initial phases.

Stage 4: Designing Photovoltaic (Solar) Systems

This Stage 4 lesson is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of photovoltaic (solar) systems, including their design, implementation, and impact on renewable energy solutions. By the end of this lesson, students will have a solid understanding of photovoltaic systems and their role in renewable energy solutions. They will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to design and implement solar energy systems, contributing to a sustainable future.

Stage 5: Designing Photovoltaic (Solar) Systems

While the Stage 4 lesson focuses on introducing students to the basics of photovoltaic systems, the Stage 5 lesson delves deeper into critical thinking and complex problem-solving. The Stage 5 lesson includes more advanced topics, such as cost estimation, area estimation, and case studies to assess students' understanding and application of the concepts.
